Highlights of the Week

This is the 218th Weekly Interchange Update. There is no significance in this number, we just wanted you to see how many updates have been created!
There will be various lane closures in both directions of I-43 for the next several weekends. These lane closures will begin at 11 p.m. on Friday and end by 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Various I-794 lane restrictions and ramp closures continue until mid/late June on the Hoan Bridge as Milwaukee County restores pavement during both day and overnight hours. There will be no full closures, but the ON-Ramps to northbound at Carferry Drive and to southbound at Lincoln Memorial Drive may be closed occasionally overnight. Expect delays and watch the electronic message boards for lane shifts and ramp closure information.
Eleventh Street between Wisconsin and Tory Hill will continue to be restricted for at least one more week to a single lane on the right side of the road and will only be accessible from the west on Wisconsin Avenue. For those of you coming from the north or east, use 12th Street to Wisconsin Avenue. Motorists are advised to be cautious when driving on this street, as construction equipment and activities will be present.
Night/weekend work
- Limited weekend work is scheduled; mainly pavement marking and sign bridge installation.
- Day time, weekday pavement work continues behind and west of Straz Tower this week.
- Limited overnight bridge and roadway work this week. Most of this work will consist of bridge deck pours and roadway pavement.

There are no St. Paul between 8th and 13th Streets closures scheduled this week.
Eastbound Michigan is closed at 8th Street.
The parking lot behind Straz Tower and the Rec-Plex is only accessible from the east. Detour left or south at 8th Street; right or west on McCauley to 9th Street; right or north on 9th Street, across Michigan Street.
When exiting the parking lot behind Straz Tower and the Rec-Plex, only left turn or eastbound travel is allowed.

Southbound I-43 North of the Marquette Interchange will be detoured at the ramp to west Thursday, June 5, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Southbound I-43 Westbound I-94 connector ramp will be closed Tuesday, June 3, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Northbound I-43/94 South of the Marquette Interchange will be detoured at Plankinton Thursday, June 5, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Eastbound I-94 Northbound I-43 connector ramp will be closed Monday, June 2, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and Wednesday/Thursday, June 4/5, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Eastbound I-94 Southbound I-43/Eastbound I-94 connector ramp will be closed Tuesday/Wednesday, June 3/4, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Eastbound I-794 East of the Marquette Interchange will be closed at the ramp to Southbound I-43/94 Monday, June 2, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Eastbound I-794 St. Paul/Lovell off-ramp will be closed Monday, June 2, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Westbound 1-794 The Hoan Bridge to the Marquette Interchange will have a detour at the Milwaukee Street exit Monday, June 2, from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Westbound I-794 Lincoln Memorial Drive on-ramp will be closed Monday, June 2, from 7:45 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Westbound I-794 Jackson Street on-ramp will be closed Monday, June 2, from 7:45 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
