Early this morning (Thursday, Sept. 24), two armed robberies were reported. In the first, a student was approached in campus parking lot #3, at the rear of 1539 W. Kilbourn. The student surrendered his wallet, and the suspect fled north. In the second incident, the same suspect confronted a student in an alley at 934 N. 16th St. No property was taken, and the suspect fled north, getting into a black Chrysler Concord, license plate unknown, occupied by two other individuals.
The suspect is described as a 25-year-old black male last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black cap and baggy white pants.
Neither student was physically injured in the incidents. DPS officers and MPD were immediately on the scene, and video cameras captured part of the incidents.
