How does Marquette University’s mission impact you in your daily work?

I am a person of faith, and so working among people who have faith in Marquette’s mission, who work very hard to see that the mission of Marquette continues not just in Milwaukee but around the world, is an awesome experience.

What is your favorite thing about working for Marquette University?

My favorite thing about working for Marquette is the variety of people you meet on any given day who help to broaden your faith, your belief in yourself and the feeling of satisfaction you get knowing that you do make a difference. You’re not just another cog in the wheel; what you do is part of something special.

How have you been able to grow personally and professionally at Marquette?

I left Marquette in 1978 as a student and to now have the opportunity to pick up where I left off and complete my Marquette education, well I have no words for it. God has given me the opportunity to grasp a dream and a goal lost long ago.  I wouldn’t trade that for anything.  Working here has enabled me to fulfill professional goals as well.  I look forward to what the future has in store for me here.

How would you describe the University Advancement team?

The UA team is a group of dynamos with everyone working towards a common goal through many endeavors.  It’s amazing to see how so few influence and direct so many. The environment is rich in commitment and generosity.  I couldn’t think of a better place to be.
