Diederich College of Communication names Brennen as Nieman Chair

Dr. Bonnie S. Brennen, previously professor of journalism and vice provost of academic affairs at Temple University, is the new Nieman Chair in the J. William and Mary Diederich College of Communication. The Nieman Chair was endowed in honor of Lucius W. Nieman, who founded the Milwaukee Journal in 1882.

Brennen will teach an undergraduate course in ethics and a graduate seminar in communication theory and organize the Nieman Symposia and Nieman Lecture Series.
