Dan Gemoll: Senior Statistician & Director

Dan joined Marquette in 1988, initially as a researcher in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. He has an M.S. in Educational Psychology from the UW-Milwaukee, plus additional advanced graduate study credits.
Prior to joining Marquette, he was an academic consultant for the Computing Center at UW-Parkside, and held both administrative and R&D posts at the Curative Rehabilitation Center of the Milwaukee County Medical Complex.

Robert June: Research Analyst

Bob joined the OIRA at Marquette in 2003. He has an M.S. from UW-Milwaukee in Inorganic Chemistry and an M.S. from Marquette in Computing. Bob's primary responsibilities include coordination and preparation of IPEDS reports and external surveys, including numerous college guides and accreditation surveys.
Outside of Marquette, Bob enjoys camping with his family, coaching his son’s baseball team, and serving on the technology committee at his son’s school.

Alexandra Riley: Managerial Reporting Specialist

Alix has been with Marquette University since 2007. She has an M.S. in Statistics and a B.S. in Statistics and Computer Science from UW-Madison. Alix’s primary responsibilities include course evaluations, the Delaware Study of Instructional Costs and Productivity, generating data for program reviews, and completing ad hoc requests for institutional statistics.
Prior to Marquette, Alix worked as a Healthcare Statistician at Assurant Health and as a Mathematical Statistician at the National Agricultural Statistics Service in DC. She is an active volunteer for the Wisconsin Illinois SAS Users. When she is not writing code to produce institutional statistics, Alix is probably playing Ultimate Frisbee, Sheepshead, or Boggle on-line.

Gary Levy: Associate Vice Provost for Institutional Research & Assessment

Gary joined Marquette in 2007 and oversees OIRA. He has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Syracuse University and an M.S. in Business from Capella University.
Before joining Marquette, Gary was Director in the Office of Budget and Institutional Analysis at the University of Utah. Prior to being in Utah, Gary was an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow, which is a sort of administrative apprenticeship in higher education. Gary was also a tenured professor of psychology at the University of Wyoming (UW) and served as the first-ever Director of Undergraduate Studies in the department. Gary served as Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence and Director of Summer Session at UW as well. Gary enjoys spending time with his family, baseball, and running when he has time and energy.
