Captain Andrew Vicencio
Assistant Professor of Military Science and Leadership

CPT Vincencio enlisted as an Infantryman in 1989. Attended Basic and AIT where he received training at Ft. Benning, GA. Served 1989-1990. Reenlisted in September 1998 and obtained a direct commission as a 2nd Lieutenant December 1999.

CPT Vicencio’s previous assignments include Infantryman 1/14 Light Dragons 25th I.D., Schofield Barracks, HI; Human Resource Clerk 328t PSB (USAR), Ft. Sam Houston, TX; Operations Officer 321st Civil Affairs BDE, Ft. Sam Houston, TX; 90th Regional Readiness Group, Ft. Sam Houston, TX; Combined Joint Task Force-76, 841st Postal Co. OEF 4,5,6 Bargram Airfield, Afghanistan; G# Civil Affairs Operations Officer, U.S. Army South/6th Army, Ft. Sam Houston, TX.

His awards include the Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal (1BS), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Armed Forces Reserve (M-Device), Army Service Robbin, Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon (3-Device).

CPT Vicencio holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Webster University. He attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Management.
