College Students

Enlisted Soldiers

EARN A COMMISSION THROUGH THE GREEN TO GOLD PROGRAM

National Guard and Army Reserve Soldiers:

Full time college students who are members of the National Guard or Army Reserve, may compete for 2 year scholarships that pay up to $34,000. These scholarships can guarantee either Reserve or Active Duty upon graduation and commissioning. Additionally, all cadets in the Advanced Course receive the monthly tax-free stipend during their last two years regardless of their scholarship status. These cadets also receive pay and travel expenses for summer leadership and adventure training courses. Students without scholarships may also participate in ARNG or USAR training while in Army ROTC. These cadets will receive monthly drill pay at the rank of E-5 or higher and may qualify for GI Bill and Kicker benefits of up to $475 a month.

Active Duty Soldiers:

Soldiers currently serving on active duty may compete for scholarships under the Army ROTC Green to Gold Program. There are two, three and four year scholarships available under this program. Scholarship winners under this program may be released from Active Duty to attend college full time and participate in the Army ROTC program. Click here for the guidance and application packet.
