The Oral History Project

Were you one of the early female engineering students, a female athlete in the years just after Title IX, a patron of the Women’s Student Union? Do you remember the no-pants rule and how women worked around it? Did a female faculty member or administrator smooth your path?

The university is gathering first-person accounts that will document the experiences of women at Marquette.

We're also looking for stories from female pioneers who enrolled

The online form can be completed in minutes. All stories are welcome.

Marquette students who are majoring in history will collect oral histories from selected participants, and every submission will become part of the university’s archives, available for study and research.
